About moi
I’m a Product Designer with over 10 years of experience working as a UX and visual designer for medium sized companies, small startups, sole proprietors, and artists.
Before becoming a professional designer, I worked in independent film distribution. I also office-managed a couple of tech and media startups. Later, as a career change, I attended Shillington School for a year-long program in Graphic Design. I ended up in UX instead of graphic design because I was in the right place at the right time.
As I have mentioned a few times, and will mention again, I spend my free time making quilts.
I am based in Brooklyn, NY.

This is a Product & UX Design centric resume. I wanted to keep it completely focused, but the truth is, that’s not the only thing I do or have done. I have given you just a peep about the other things.
Questions I am imagining being asked

Yes! Please get in touch. There is a contact link in the footer.

Product Design is interesting work. It’s a perfect overlap of logic/systems thinking and creative thinking. It allows me to healthfully channel the part of me that wants to be exacting and neurotic. It also lets that part of me know that sometimes good enough is good enough.
-
To be honest, I don’t know.
-
I think it would be boring to do one job forever and only be one person forever. I like that I have lots of different experience. I didn’t include this on my resume, but when I was younger, I worked in a ceramics studio, bakery, coffee shop, home decoration store, and temped in the Flatiron and Empire State Buildings. I was trying to keep temping until I worked in the Chrysler building too, but after awhile I needed to stop temping and get on with my life.

No, unfortunately.
